Panorama - 1st official testing with Ultra Wide angle lens

Well, got myself a second hand Ultra wide angle lens during the internet-less days, Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F/3.5-5.4 Di II LD Aspherical (IF). I'm going "wide wide" Here are some shots to share with you guys. I found the distortion at 10mm is very obvious but then it's a nice distortion. Sharpness, good. Low light, nice. Apparently just observed this few aspects. Shall explore the lens more.

There will be more from my Tamron. Stay tuned in. Thanks.

Taiping, Perak, Malaysia part 6

Ok! this is the last post of the month. most probably. Hopefully the internet line in my new house is set up as soon as possible. This post is about the 1st railway station in Malaysia, the Taiping Railway Station. The building attracted me once I passed by it the 1st time. So, my tour guide(my housemate) and I went and have a few shots while everyone are having a rest at home. It's still consider well maintained, they just repainted it recently, i guess, seems new to me.

At 1st, i saw this board(photo above) and thought tat it's an old board repainted. but while I walked around the station I found this(photo below). Now, That's is something!

Railway track control room. I never seen this before and while I was photographing this, I was wondering are these still in use. My logic snapped in my mind and yeah, it's still in use.

That's all for the Taiping trip photos. Thanks.

Taiping, Perak, Malaysia part 4

Spamming more photos of Taiping. This post will be showing the old stuffs in Taiping. I hardly see these in Kuala Lumpur nowadays. Most the shots are little out of composition because most of the time i just got to point and shoot from inside the moving car.

This building was said to be abandoned long before I was borned. haha.. hence, none of my friends can answer my question, "What building was this?"

Old cars, old building and old advertisement board.

There will be more within the next 24 hours before I go internet-less. Tune in again. Thanks.

Taiping, Perak, Malaysia part 3

Here are more from Taiping. These are from the charcoal factory.

I went into a unused burning chamber. It was left unused for a few weeks but It's like a sauna room inside. The photo above was to show the steam which is still inside the chamber. Sorry for the sharpness It was really dark and big area even with my flash assisting light can't help in focusing.

In the last 3 photos, these workers have been working here for many years as packaging workers. Supposedly I wanted to catch a close up photo showing the facial wrinkles, but I didn't dare to ask. There will be more coming.

Taiping, Perak, Malaysia part 2

Okay! 2nd post of Taiping, Antiques or should I say Artifacts. I think artifacts will be more appropriate. This photos aren't very special or attractive in composition or anything. I just feel good to see they still can preserve them in this good condition.

Ok, around 1 day left before i live a month of internet-less life. Stay connected. There will be more coming.
